The Otsego United Methodist Church has amazing music talent.  We currently have six music groups who perform regularly from September through May.  These are all mentioned below.  We encourage anyone who would desire to be involved in one (or all) of our music groups, to contact their respective leaders.  The Church Office (269-694-2939) can help you with phone numbers or e-mails

praise group

Our Praise Group is a team effort.  The Praise Group performs Contemporary Christian Music.  The Praise Group practices on Wednesday Evenings or Sunday Mornings in preparation for the Sundays they sing.  They play in Church once or twice per month at both the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Church Services.  They also have special selections, programs, and concerts throughout the year.  If you have any interest or questions about the Praise Group, please contact one of the Praise Group Leaders (Scott Grove, or Deb Agne).

Thirsty land bluegrass gospel band

The Thirsty Land Bluegrass Gospel Band sings Bluegrass Gospel Music.  They practice on Thursday Evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in preparation for the Sundays they sing.  They play in church once a quarter at both the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Church Services.  They also have special selections, programs, and concerts throughout the year.  If you have any interest in question about the Thirsty Land Bluegrass Gospel Band, please contact Group Leader, Roy Kilbourn or Stephen Sisson or any other member of Group.

Classic Choir

Otsego United Methodist Church is the only Church in Otsego that still maintains a Classic Church Choir.  Our Classic Choir is currently looking for a Director.  Our Church has worked hard to keep our Classic Choir relevant in a time when many traditional Church Choirs are ceasing to exist.  The Classic Choir practices on Tuesday Evenings from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.  The Classic Choir sings in Church once per month (usually the first Sunday of the Month) at the 11:00 a.m. Church Service.  The Classic Choir also has special selections, programs, and concerts throughout the year.  If you have any interest or questions about the Classic Choir, please contact any member of the Classic Choir.

Bell Choir

Our Bell Choir is directed by Donna Church.  The Bell Choir practices every Tuesday Evening, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.  They play in Church once a month (usually on the third Sunday) at the 11:00 a.m. Church Services.
